Polly is an emerging designer and artist, recently graduated with an MA in Costume Design for Performance from the London College of Fashion. Her work explores costume led performances that sit at the intersection of art and performance, moving beyond conventional theatrical contexts. She uses costume as a language, to communicate ideas, provoke dialogue, and engage audiences on a visceral level.

Polly’s practice addresses contemporary social issues through embodied, sensory experiences and rituals of connection. By combining materiality, movement, and performance, she creates work that resonates emotionally and invites personal responses from viewers. She is especially interested in the transformative power of costume as a medium for reflecting and interpreting the human experience.

Polly is committed to making work that has a low impact environmentally, using sustainable and/or recycled materials wherever possible.
